"It will all work out" is a typical mantra that we say around here but what happens when it doesn't work out? I've been saying it more recently and I'm not quite sure if I'm believing myself these days. With this move there seems to be so many variables that are stacked like a tower of Jenga - one wrong move and its all going to come tumbling down. How do you keep it from all crashing down? How do you build it back up if it does fall apart? I guess we are just playing a waiting game because every step needs to happen in sequence and the next step has a big hold sign on it. How can I be sure that this too will all work out? I would like an answer sometime around yesterday so I can have the next month or two figured out. I'm the girl who likes to have things planned, things worked out way before they need to be executed plus a backup plan for when "Plan A" falls through therefore this is killing me! I guess I just need to be patient and wait for my hand to be dealt to me...
Maybe this saying will help "If anything can go well, it will."

10.5 years and counting...
Today, the sixteenth of July, marks 10 years and 6 months since my now husband asked me to be his girlfriend. While packing for our upcoming move, I found the note that he "asked me out" in and it's been determined that his spelling and penmanship were not what hooked me ;) It is such a sweet note and brings me back that brisk day in January when all I could do is smile.
Over the past decade we've been through so much, growing up and together while making sure we find ourselves as individuals too. I've been blessed to have the ability to finish my degree and start a career that is also my passion. Throughout my schooling Ricky has been my one of my biggest cheerleaders and always gave the me strength to keep on trucking. We are now moving across the country so he can complete his education and fulfill his dreams. I can only hope that I'll provide him with the same amount of support and encouragement that he has given me all these years.
I can't imagine my life without him and the family that we've created. I know that the future is uncharted territory but I can't wait to discover what is in store for us with him by my side.
Here's to many more decades my love...
